Cost Analysis

Double J verses Standard Electrician

This model is based upon the following criteria: 

1.       Home is 3-4 bedrooms, 2500 sq. feet.

2.       Electrician’s charge is $1300.00 to provide a voice and coax outlet in each room.

     Approximately 6-7 locations.

3.       Builder will construct 25 homes. 

Based upon these assumptions the builder will spend approximately $32,500.00, (1300.00 per unit) to provide these services in your homes.  The resale value is $0.00, the marketability of this product is $0.00, your profit margin is $0.00, and the ability to UPSELL/UPGRADE is $0.00.  The end result is just another brick and stick cost to you, the homebuilder. 

WHAT DOUBLE J PROPOSES

Based upon the same assumptions, you will spend $799.00 per unit which equals, in real dollars, $19,975.00. Average retail value will allow you to markup this package to the homeowner a minimum of 25% for total dollars receivable at $24.968.00.  This presents you with an overall profit of $4,993.00!!!  Average upgrades to this package are $3000.00 per unit. With our profit sharing program of 10% that gives you, the builder, another $300.00+ per house. 

BOTTOM LINE DOLLARS AND SENSE
